A native of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, Jon Anderson brought home three state Cross Country champion titles by the age of 18. Jon was accepted to the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and ran four years on their Varsity Track and Field, and Cross Country Teams. Following graduation, Jon served five years in the United States Army as an artillery officer. Between combat tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan, Jon ran on the All Army Cross Country team and competed for the All Armed Forces team in the 2010 Cross Country Military World Championships.

Since resigning his commission as a captain, Jon has continued his pursuits as coach for the Fort Carson Army 10 Miler team. A lifetime mentor for young adult athletes, Jon is a USA Track and Field level I certified coach and TRX level 1 certified instructor who has placed at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships and competed in multiple NCAA Track Championships.

Daniel J. “DJ” Russell

Daniel is a Bay Area native who moved to Colorado in 1999. Daniel grew up playing nearly every sport that he could including hockey, football, running, lacrosse, soccer, etc. Daniel is in the teachers education program at UCCS and utilizes his passion for students to teach both in the classroom and on the track. He will complete his Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education-History in the spring of 2017.

As a USATF Level 1 certified coach Daniel has crowned three of the last four 4A boys high jump champions, as well as numerous state placers and qualifiers. Daniel is in his sixth year coaching high school track, and his fourth year coaching jumps and hurdles at Cheyenne Mountain High School. Daniel also coaches club track for Exceler8 TC in Monument, Colorado.

Through his passion for people Daniel has gotten the opportunity to do non-profit work all over the world. His work has taken him to remote villages in Nepal to work in orphanages and help with earthquake relief, Okinawa, Japan to work with people in the streets, and the bush of Uganda to set up a ministry sponsoring children for school.

Training Plans. Goal Setting, Guidance, Calling, Support, Camaraderie, Accountability, Inspiration, Great Results, PRs, Fun, Cool Friends and Running Buddies!

The women’s FIT Team has it all! We Welcome women of all ages (18+) and fitness levels, from walkers to advanced runners! Get started with a new program or work towards your PRs or qualifying times!

TRAINING: Saturday group long run/walk at 8am (earlier as it warms up) at various locations. Wednesday group speed work or endurance run/walk in Monument Valley Park at 5pm.

FEE: $120. Includes training schedules, 15% discount at Runners Roost, Team Tech shirt, Training, Clinics, Parties.

REGISTRATION: Register at Runners Roost anytime. Payment in cash or check for $120 to Judy Fellhauer. (No online Registration)

ORIENTATION MEETING: Sunday, January 31st at 2:00pm inside Runners Roost. Enjoy some refreshments, get the scoop, register, and meet your coach and teammates!

JUMP START CLINIC: Saturday February 20th at 9:00pm at Runners Roost. Free! Learn proper training principles, the Run/Walk training method, running form, gear & many tips to remain injury free.
